These terms apply to use of petretreat.co.uk. Pet Retreat is operated by Varnwick Group, trading as Pet Retreat. Our contact email is hello@petretreat.co.uk.
Pet Retreat provides a curated search, enquiry and booking facilitation service for UK pet-friendly short-term rentals. Unless confirmed otherwise in writing, the accommodation is supplied by the relevant property owner, host, manager or agency, not by Pet Retreat.
Our Role
Pet Retreat acts as a marketing, enquiry, booking administration and payment facilitation agent. We may help guests find properties, submit enquiries, receive guide prices, arrange booking steps, collect payments as agent, and support communications.
We do not own, inspect, manage, operate or control the properties unless we expressly say so in writing. Owners and property managers remain responsible for property accuracy, safety, permissions, insurance, licensing, tax, house rules, pet rules, availability, rates, deposits, guest stays and the accommodation they supply.
No Package Travel
Pet Retreat is designed for accommodation-only bookings. Any optional local recommendations, suppliers, activities, caterers, taxis, attractions or third-party services are separate from the accommodation booking unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing. Multiple separate accommodation enquiries or owner-supplied extras do not create a package holiday arranged by Pet Retreat.
Information On The Website
We aim to keep property information accurate and useful. Property descriptions, images, availability, amenities, rates, pet rules, fees, local information and suitability notes may be supplied by owners or property managers.
Website information is intended to give a fair general impression. Exact layouts, furnishings, gardens, views, local services, broadband performance, parking, access, attractions, facilities and seasonal features may vary. Guide prices and availability snapshots are not final until confirmed by Pet Retreat or the relevant owner/manager.
We may update, remove, suspend or correct website content at any time.
Enquiries And Availability
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking, reserve a property, or guarantee availability or price. A booking is only formed when the booking details, price, cancellation terms, property-specific terms and payment process are confirmed in writing.
Calendar data may come from owner-supplied iCal feeds or other sources. It is provided as an availability guide and must be confirmed before reliance.
User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must not misuse the website, submit false information, attempt to interfere with the site, copy property content for competing commercial use, scrape data, impersonate another person, introduce malware, or use Pet Retreat to harass guests, owners, suppliers or our team.
Third-Party Links And Services
The site may refer to third-party websites, owners, managers, payment providers, local suppliers, attractions or services. Pet Retreat is not responsible for third-party content, availability, conduct, prices, terms, safety or performance.
Intellectual Property
Website design, text, branding, data structure and curated content belong to Pet Retreat or our licensors. Property owners retain rights in materials they supply, while granting Pet Retreat permission to use them for marketing, enquiry handling, booking facilitation and related operations.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights that cannot be excluded, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, Pet Retreat is responsible only for the booking facilitation services it provides with reasonable care and skill. Pet Retreat is not responsible for owner-supplied inaccuracies, property defects, property unavailability, owner or guest conduct, third-party services, travel arrangements, local disruption, loss of enjoyment, business losses, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
If Pet Retreat is found liable in connection with use of the website or booking facilitation service, liability will be limited to the amount of Pet Retreat commission or booking/admin fee received for the relevant booking, except where law does not allow that limitation.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have rights to bring claims in your local courts.
